Ever since motor racing first started over a hundred years ago, there has been a magical aura and excitement surrounding motor sport. Many cars of the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s remain very useable, especially the competition cars.

For many people however, the motor racing of the 1950s represents the true grit, glory and heyday of the sport: Fangio, Hawthorn, Moss - Maserati, Ferrari, Jaguar - Goodwood, Nürburgring, Monza - a time when Grand Prix drivers doubled as mechanics, when straw bales separated cheering spectators from the action and when cars were built to last. Today, historic motor racing is very much alive, with the original cars competing in events all over the world.

The glamour and nostalgia that these cars evoke is testament to our extraordinary motoring heritage - this is what TOPS is all about.
